It was packed but we still got seated very fast and the food was to our table quickly as well. It was hot and fresh and tasted delicious! The gingerbread hot chocolate is great! It's more like a bowl of hot chocolate rather than a tiny cup like most places do, so that's a star all on it's own. The brioche french toast is definitely on point as well.
We are currently at iHop. We have been here for 45min, no food yet. Ordered about 30min ago. Took the girl 15min to get our drinks. There are 5 employees sitting in a booth hanging out, eating, drinking sodas. There are 3 by the counter on their phones. No one has checked on us this whole time. Just heard the girl saying she forgot to make my husbands salad. We are about to just leave. There are only 2 other tables here, each with 2 people at them.
We were disappointed tonight. We were the only ones in the restaurant and our food took 40 minutes to serve. When it finally came, much of the food had been sitting for quite some time. Most disturbing was the attitude of the waitress who never asked if we needed more water, made some snide remarks when the children went to peek to see if the food was ready, and was not friendly until I was given the final check - when she finally realized she had better be nice if she'd like a tip. I gave her one because I can't bring myself to leave nothing....however I hope this message will help to improve conditions. Perhaps it was just a tough day today for the two staff members present.
Late night dinner with family. Our waiter was awesome. This has been the first time in a long time we have been to a restaurant and our drinks were filled without even asking. Everything was made fresh and everything came out well.
Arrived after ample time for a pickup and my food was not ready. It’s also weird that they have to take my card back into the kitchen instead of in the front. But the food tasted good.
