Please let me start by giving One Stop Auto of Logan, UT the highest possible rating. Upon arrival Blake met me and showed me the vehicle I found via internet search. He was pleasant and was as nice as a long lost friend. Zero pressure. After a test drive, I negotiated with Salesman Blake who helped us get to a price that was a win-win. It was by far the best car buying experience in my lifetime. I recommend anyone from the Salt Lake Valley to research here first, and make the trip out to meet everyone at One Stop Auto if they have what you are looking for. They gave me a very reasonable purchase price and were very upfront and honest about the damage history on the vehicle, before I even asked because it wasn't obvious due to the quality of the repair. Nate in Finance couldn't have been more pleasant to work with, and the General Manager, Trent went out of his way to talk with me as the deal was finalized. He took a sincere interest in me and my satisfaction with the process. Thanks again One Stop Auto for the great car and great experience!
The really horrible thing was we were told the truck had gotten it's safety done across the street. We believed them but they kept giving excuses as to where the paperwork was saying they would get it to us soon. The purchase went through and within a week of having the truck we were driving with friends through Sardine Canyon when all of the sudden our tire seemed to have blown. Turns out the lug nuts had fallen out! Our tire was now being held together by 2 lug nuts. We were able to pull over and made it to the Auto Zone in Brigham (these people were so helpful). How the tire held on is beyond us! The workers at AutoZone couldn't believe it. The highway patrol officer was in disbelief as well and told us something must have gotten missed in the safety. The tow truck driver who took us back to Logan said he had never seen anything like that in all his years working.
The highway patrol officer stayed in contact with us and advised us to get ahold of that safety ASAP and file a report against One Stop. When we talked to One Stop about it they finally told us that truth that the truck NEVER ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH INSPECTION! That it along with some other cars in their possession must have gotten missed! We were FLOORED! How could this happen?! Lucky for them our tire didn't fall off and no one was hurt. But what if? That was 5 lives in danger because they were dishonest and trying to cover up their tracks of not getting the safety inspection done before selling the car.
Everything was going really smoothly or so we thought other than feeling we were not being taken seriously being a young couple buying our first car. There was definitely some dishonestly with our contract like extra unnecessary charges that weren't brought up. Luckily my husband was diligent in reading everything and caught these charges and we were able to get them changed.
