Don't go here...
That does not make sense to me.
At first things seemed like they were going to be smooth. We had a routine oil change and tire rotation with no qualms. However they were not able to fix our key fobs.
Amidst this I asked other mechanics to find out that the method of action they were going to use may not have even worked. It looked to me like they immediately jumped to the most costly option.
I would not recommend using this place unless you have too. Especially if you are under a time crunch. We had to move to California for a job, and pushed our time line back a day because of this, and still did not get everything resolved.
More problems came when trying to get our locking system taken care of. We were told we would need to have a special part ordered and that it would not be there until two days later, and that they would call us. Two days passed and no one called. We called them, got passed around a few times before talking to the correct person, only to find out the part was not there and that it would be another day. Another day passed and the same thing happened. This pattern continued for another two days. All in all it took a week to get the part and by then we were already behind schedule for our move.
In the end we had to move without the work being done. We called to cancel our appointment and were told that since the part was in transit they would have to send it back, and they were going to charge me to send it back. They charged me to NOT use the part or their services!
*This dealer is tricky and changed their name (I assume because they had so many negative reviews) which nearly gives them a clean slate, but they are the same dealer I had this issue with. I am copying and pasting my review here because customers need to know to not give these people business. Read the Jared Gheen review to understand more from a different customer who went through similar issues as I did. These people are just not ethical and so not know how to run a good business.*
If you want to be lied to and tricked from every member, this is the right place. I went to purchase a car, and the salesman was extremely helpful and gave me the impression he was looking out for my best interest. A couple things needed to be fixed on the car, so they told me to leave it with them on Thursday and everything would be fixed and ready to go by Monday. I showed up Monday and the shop hadn’t even LOOKED at the car, much less fixed anything. They spent 5 minutes looking for the key because they had lost it and then I was assured it would be done on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I texted my salesman to check the status and he said he wasn’t sure because he had the day off and was out of town. I decided to stop by to see if I needed to do anything concerning the financing, and my salesman was sitting at his desk, not out of town. The car still wasn’t repaired and nobody from financing was even in the office. At this point, I wanted to be done with this place. I called in on Wednesday and they lied telling me my financing had been approved, even though I called the credit union individually to see, and they said they hadn’t even received all the proper paperwork. I showed up Thursday, wanting to get out of the contract and get my down-payment refunded. They tried charging me for the repairs they said they’d do for free. Chris Naser helped to smooth the issues, but even he had no idea what had been going on. Never shopping at a Murdock dealer again.
