I have gotten more of the help I needed here then at any other doctors office. They worked well with my disabilities, and was able to find the problems I was having, that other doctors could not.

I will never be returning to USU Health Services. I'm a student at USU, and my first time visiting health services was just yesterday. I went in seeking therapy for anxiety and was set up with an appointment with a psychiatrist who was supposed to refer me to a therapist if he thought that was the right next step for me. And he did refer me to a therapist. But only after looking at the paperwork I'd handed him (an official statement of diagnosis from a psychologist I'd worked with previously, and pages from the DSM about my specific anxiety disorder in case he wasn't familiar because it's very rare) and declaring in the most judgmental, snarky tone I've ever encountered, "You don't seem like you have (name of my disorder)." It took all of my willpower not to just stand up and yell in his face, because he has no idea what I've been through and all the work I've done to get where I am today. He trivialized my disorder and acted as if I were somehow lying about what I have. I'm not drug-seeking, I'm not questionably qualified to receive help. I'm standing there holding an official statement of diagnosis from a licensed psychologist who worked with me for many years. How can a professional get away with saying something like that? That's like looking at someone who has just told you they struggle with depression and saying, "But you're smiling. You don't seem like you're depressed." It's something I would expect to hear from some random, untrained douchebag who knows nothing about anxiety disorders, but from a psychiatrist that health services referred me to specifically? I dislike confrontation so I completed the appointment politely, but cancelled my follow-up as soon as I left and will be seeking help from a private counselor instead. I was hoping to receive cost-effective care to help me cope with a very real disorder, and instead I was belittled, doubted, and trivialized.

Very unprofessional place. They made me pay for things I didn't even want in the first place. The workers weren't friendly or helpful at all. Definitely won't waste my money on this place again.

They're very helpful! Good doctors!

Idk why someone gave it 1 star but this place is pretty dang sweet. Very nice and helpful and the prices we pay here are soooooo low compared to going to anywhere else because of it being subsidized by tax payers
