Dr. Horsley is an outstanding OB/GYN and Doctor!! I am so grateful to have him as my doctor. He is very knowledgeable, professional, kind, and very personable. I have to have c-sections, which can be very scary. He did an amazing job delivering my son (3rd child). He calmed my fears and anxieties. He had me laughing in the O.R. and made my delivery very enjoyable and memorable (very different experience with my prior 2 c-sections with a different Dr. and hospital). I highly recommend him and his staff, and so do many other women in the community. Best OB in Cache Valley!!!

I had a very bad experience giving birth at Logan Regional Hospital under the care of Dr. Horsley. My entire labor lasted 24 hrs, half of which was spent at the hospital. The anesthesiologist tried for one hour to put in the epidural, he finally concluded that my vertebrae were " too close together" and that another anesthesiologist might be able to do it better. When he finally got the catheter in it wasn't placed right. I've been told by another medical professional that I may have had an ascending epidural because immediately after he put the epidural in I got a headache and intense upper back pain, to the point that if I moved at all the pain took my breath away ( which made pushing even more difficult). No one believed me and the epidural was left where it was. The only deadening I had was in my lower left leg. I was given Pitocin to hurry along my labor which made my contractions unbearably strong. So in the end I was confined to my bed with an epidural that was causing more harm than good and feeling intensified contractions for 12 hours. I right this review because I don't think Dr. Horsley was aware of any of this going on. If he were I would hope that I would have been offered other forms of pain relief. Not only did he not know what was happening but none of the staff believed, or maybe didn't care, that I was in such extreme pain.
Dr. Horsley is the best OB doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren and have met many doctors along the way. He is by far top of the list! He made my daughter feel so at ease We love him!
I first saw Dr. Horsley when I became pregnant as a teenager, and he was so caring, nonjudgmental, and after he patiently answered all of my questions I left his office feeling less frightened and better educated about my pregnancy and my options. Eight months later I delivered my beautiful son, and although Dr. Horsley missed his birth, as soon as he could he came to my recovery room to see me, and even went with me to NICU to see my son. He answered all of my questions about the condition of my son, and really advocated for me during my son's two week NICU stay. You won't find a more patient, caring, companionate Dr.!
