Wow is all I can say, this is nothing regarding Dr. Keyser himself, mostly his staff. I went in to have my tonsils removed on Tuesday and everything was going the way it was supposed to. post surgery Dr. Keyser told me to call him Friday morning for another prescription because my pain killers wouldn't last the weekend and you don't want to be without them for a while. so I waited and my husband called to get another prescription just like he told us to (I have no voice). and the Nurse said she wouldn't talk to him about getting another one, that I went through them to fast, and she wouldn't talk to him about it until Tuesday. basically accusing me of being a pill popper when I'm in EXTREME throat pain, like worst ever and calling like I was told to do! so First, to clarify going through them too fast, for a nurse she obviously doesn't know math, tuesday-friday is four days. the prescription says take two every four hours. so 4 days, 2 pills 6 times a day. 6x2=12 12x4= 48 pills. I got prescribed 40, how was I going through them fast if I was taking them like recommended????? still had a few left, and was doing what the doctor TOLD me to do. So finally my husband had to be rude and told her that she needs to speak to Dr. Keyser before doing something she'll regret. she went and talked to Dr. keyser and I guess you could hear that he was a little frustrated with his nurse and explained that HE TOLD US TO CALL HIM. If it continues this way and I get treated that way again, I'm going to get a hold of someone in the hospital or an attorney if I have to.
