Another well respected auto chain said I need 2 things done on my car. Fix This Auto said that 1 of them did have a problem, but wasn't vital I have it done now. He said the other one did have a problem, but he could do it for a lot less. Overall, I went from having a possible $480 at the other place to a $140 at Fix This Auto.
When our engine blew in our car that we had only owned for 8 months, we had to go to their shop because we bought the extended warranty from the dealer and it only would allow us to go there. The shop took a very long time to put in a different engine nearly 2 months. I had to call every few days to find out what was going on. After getting the engine in, we noticed it made a ticking noise. After a few months we got it checked at another place and the spark plug was bad. Apparently they put all the old spark plugs and belts with the new motor. We also had a problem with our computer. We took it to Fix This Auto hoping our warranty would cover it but it didn't. And the mechanic tried to fix it himself but he first put the wrong computer in and had to take it to the dealer in the end to fix it. He did take of some of the charges off for the computer, but it still took about a month to get our car back. We will never ever go there again! I still hope and worry about the engine they put in. I hope it lasts...
Took my car in for an oil change and because coolant was disappearing. He showed me the problem and fixed it same day and stayed late to get it done on Saturday. Wished I lived in Logan to give them more business.
to get it to their shop. They agreed to come pick my car up at 4 pm. At 4:15pm I called to check, and they told me thy were on their way. Thirty Minutes later I called again and all they could say is they were sorry. I kept waiting until 5:30pm trusting they would arrive anytime but they didn't. They didn't even call to apologize. Stay away!
I took my car into another place and they quoted me a lot of money. I took it into here, and they charged me less for labor and were really nice! They were in contact with me the whole time and they called me! It was nice! They fixed my car for cheap and they were good about it. They cleared everything with me first! They did have to keep it overnight, but that's only cause they were understaffed. Overall, I'm satisfied.
