I was referred here after Jiffy Lube overheated the Jeep I had just bought doing a coolant change. These guys told me the over heat was caused by a bad clutch fan, and that my thermostat and electric fan were no good. Seems like this caused my over heat right? Funny thing is, my Jeep has neither an electric fan nor a clutch fan like some models do. I have a single hydraulic fan run off the power steering pump. Anyone who knows a radiator from a spark plug can look under the hood and see ONE fan. It appears that these guys didn't even look and made a FRAUDULENT diagnosis to protect the ones paying the bill (Jiffy Lube).
They did the job correctly, they got me right in, and the price was reasonable, the service was prompt and courteous. I will go back next time I need any kind of repair.
I will not be providing automotive unlimited with anymore of my business and I will not recommend them to anyone I know.
Take your business to somewhere honest, this is not that place.
Used to be the only shop I went to. Since their move back to the original location service has only gone downhill. Paid a full hour of labor for a full diagnosis, automotive unlimited would not give me an accurate quote and they could not tell me what the specific problem was; I paid a diagnosis fee for a guess and a repair cost range between $500-$2000.
Before Automotive Unlimited, I had to wait for days and days for my vehicles to get repaired in Logan. Automotive Unlimited has always treated me fairly and given me a fair price. I never have to wait a long time either. They have become like family to us because of they way they have treated us.
Brought oil change punch card in (which I purchased from Automotive Unlimited) with only one punch out of 3 used. Automotive Unlimited would not honor it because "all the punches were used up"even though they obviously were not.
