I had an ignition coil that was bad. I was quoted $700 for replacement of coil, boot, spark plug and labor (2.7 hours). $1400 to replace all 8 of them, which was recommended. Calling around to 5 other mechanics in Cache Valley, the price to replace faulty ignition coil runs between $100-200 (parts and labor). Almost all the shops recommended only replacing the bad one, not all 8. My opinion of Brian's Car Smart was always positive based on experience from years past. Before getting any work done on your vehicle, be sure to check around other shops.
