The staff is nice
I have shopped this store several times and found that they have a subpar shoe selection with very average prices. The extremely amateur staff is very poorly trained and the management is very unprofessional. They will be nice to your face, but will make fun of you behind your back. I have witnessed this first hand. I'd recommend that you shop elsewhere.
No one asked if they could help and they just sat there and talked... all five of them! Plus when we checked out they laughed at us...
I've shopped here several times . The staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They have been great about helping me find solutions to problems such as my son's stinky feet. The shoes I've purchased have been good quality.
I was looking for some shoes to walk around New York in. I went to several different places and they were either out of my price range or way too crappy of a shoe. At Shoe Department they were able to help me find a shoe that I could afford and didn't kill my feet on my trip. And on the plus side the employees were friendly and well educated about shoes!
