When I book a hotel I always look for a place with a swimming pool for my kids to enjoy. We were super bummed when we got in the water to find it very cold. My kids lips were blue and they were shaking within half an hour. So one of the main things we were planning to do for the weekend got cut way short. The room we were staying in had an air conditioning unit that rattled so bad and made a squeaking noise I only got an hour of sleep. It also quit in the middle of the night and we had to power it off and try to get it working again. We had to choose between a hot and stuffy room or a very loud one. The breakfast was like most hotels with cereal, toast, waffles, etc. The shower was nice and the room was clean. Overall I felt like we paid way too much for this particular stay however if the fixed the pool temp and fixed the air conditioning it would have been a totally different experience.
We love this hotel! We try to stay here whenever we come to Logan. The breakfast is above average and we look forward to it. The kids love the pool. The rooms are nice, and so is the staff.
This best western offers a good room rate but the noise is just not worth it. Guests park their cars right outside the hotel room doors and if you’re like us we had a family leave at 4 AM and their car door slammed continuously as they packed up to leave. This hotel is right off the main street as well which adds to the noise. Also, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast is satisfactory but the fitness center is very outdated. Overall we did not get a good nights rest - this hotel is just too noisy.
The location is great! Close to downtown, lots within walking, pretty area of Logan. The rooms are nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Pool is a little on the cool side but very big and well kept. Hot tub is large and very enjoyable. Breakfast well maintained with waffles, muffins, eggs and ham, etc. Only reason it's a three star is the beds just weren't that comfortable and the "roll away crib" was actually a playpen. As much as we enjoyed our stay the sleep wasn't great which is kind of the point....
The western plus Weston inn in Logan Utah has always been one of our favorite places to stay. The rooms/pool/hot tub/full breakfast has always been great! We always try to stay here. Love it.
