All along they would never call to let me know what was going on, I would have to constantly check in to validate things were going good, and they never were.
They lost some of our windows and took them weeks to reorder.
The guy that took my order for doors was super friendly. I think his name was Jordan. I understand that things happen. We ended up with one of the ten doors we ordered wrong, at 29" instead on 36". It was not a big deal to have one fixed for me. It was just the way We were treated when we called to have it fixed. They were quit rude. We were told it would be done the next day. We stopped and was again treated quite rudely by the lady at the front (which was not the first time from her). No one seemed to know anything about it. I was told it would be done before five. Called before 5 to see if it was done... again no one seemed to know anything about it. Cam who we delt with the most with the doors was super unfriendly. We ended up just taking the doors to SunRoc to get finished up.
This business is the most accommodating business that we have delt with. What a pleasure it is to have the expert help and advice. Jordon Hardy you are an amazing asset to Burton Lumber. Thank you for all your help. This is the only lumber yard we will go to.
Their products and service have always been reliable.
They delivered way more lumber than we needed for framing, wouldn't pick it up unless we paid, then charged us for restocking.
I would give no stars if I had the option. I ordered about $1000 worth, on a trial basis, for a barn. All large dimension lumber for beams, rafters, etc. Half of it was split and splintered (which of course is tough to see in the bundle). After breaking the bundle I seen boards split 1, 2, 4' up the center. I called and they did offer return (on my nickel of course) so we agreed they could pick it up to exchange on my next delivery in 6-8 weeks. That delivery came, they picked up the junk, and I called a week later for another order and asked how much was credited... Only to be informed that the lumber was "so unusable they couldn't give credit and want me to pick it back up". Well, that's how it was delivered. It's been covered since delivery. I waited 2 months for their truss guy to call back. They dropped my TJIs 10' on the last delivery. So my advice if you use this company is to break the bundle BEFORE they leave and send it back for prompt credit back. I specified my expectations before they agreed to supply and they haven't come remotely close to meeting a single one.
To bad I cant give them no stars.
The Front door was the wrong style.
Interior doors were also promised one day and delivered a week later.
They said that siding would deliver one day and it arrived a week and a half later.
