We recently purchased an office building and went through the process of getting an SBA loan through Cache Valley Bank. Initially I started working with Chase Bank and they were awful to work with. The worst. The loan officer had to drive up from Ogden anytime I wanted to meet and preferred to do everything over email and phone. I'm all for technology, but with something as big as purchasing a building I really wanted to meet with someone face to face who could help me out. They tried to persuade me into a different type of loan with a higher interest rate and an all around worse setup. After getting too frustrated working with them a friend who had just gone through the same process referred me to Darren & Sid at Cache Valley Bank. I was on a pretty tight deadline and Sid made time to meet with me the same day. He was super thorough and explained everything that I needed to do very clearly. So helpful. He even gave advice on structuring my offer for the building, which was completely outside the scope of his job, but he had no problem helping out. Long story short, these guys were so great to work with, made everything happen very fast and within the deadlines that I was under. They even came through at the end and helped me get more funds than we initially expected for the renovation. I will be switching all of my banking, both business and personal, to Cache Valley Bank after seeing how great it is to work with them. If you're looking for business funding and want a personal working relationship then this is the place to go. So glad that I went with them!
