I've never waited longer than 2 minutes in the waiting area, and usually I can't even get seated before they ask me to go back to the dental area.
Not to set future expectations, but my thanks to Boston Dental, they have done multiple "Patient Appreciation" activities, usually a free movie or they rent the city pool and invite their patients.
This is Tom's review. We currently live in Calif and drive to Logan to see Dr B yearly. I have been going to Dr B since 1979 and was a total coward about going to the dentist. Dr B has totally (well, almost totally) removed my fear of the dentist. I think of Dr B more as a friend (will a drill) than a dentist. His crew is always friendly and on the ball. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than a couple of minutes before being strapped into THE CHAIR :-) Good job you guys.
Dr. Boston is the only dentist I have ever seen who asks if you are scared of dentists. (He is also the only person I've ever had give me a shot that I didn't feel.) He has helped me overcome my fear of dentists, although I'm not sure that would work for any other dentist (fond memories of dental visits as a child...).
I never give reviews but I just can't not say anything. This was the worst dentist office I've been to! I read some of the reviews online and was excited to try them out. On their web site they brag out the dental hygienist "gentle" hands - she was SO rough with everything, but flossing was the absolute worst and I do not have sensitive gums! It was an annual cleaning and check-up so, they took x-rays and I can't believe the dentist was fine with them - they weren't straight on so you couldn't even see between my teeth. I kept asking him if I have any cavities and all he could say was he didn't see any red flags. Well, that's probably because he couldn't even see between my teeth to know if there we're any cavities. I've worked in a dentist office taking x-rays and cleaning teeth so I know what's good and what's not and what they are be capable of. Even after the cleaning and review of the x-rays I tried asking Dr. Boston some questions and he just started walking away - he shouted some answer down the hallway back at me even though I clearly wasn't done asking him questions. I absolutely would not recommend this dentist.
I've never seen a dentist office with more fun and caring people. The whole crew makes you feel at home.
Dr. Boston and his staff have taken excellent care of my family and me for over 20 years. Dr. Boston is knowledgable and friendly, and he and his staff make going to the dentist a little less painful because of their kindness. They have treated my children since they were small, and we know we will always be greeted with a smile.
Dr. Boston does really good work, his skills and expertise are top level. Everyone in the office if friendly, and they make you feel welcome. I highly recommend them.
