I have officially gotten the nickname, "The Sauce Boss" after this trip. I put all sorts of sauce into my bowl. Noodles for days. Family friendly. As long as you put tons of sauce on then you will love it here.
My server Kyle was overly nice. Like.... He has one of those sketchy smiles that makes me want to listen to hard Rock and grow a beard just not to feel gay anymore.
Excellent for Gluten Free Folks! Unfortunately, the staff isn't well trained on how you can obtain a gluten free meal, but all you have to do is ask for the "allergy bowls". I always ask for two so that my gluten-free meal is less of a hassle for the cooks and for myself. Your meal will be cooked with special treatment and so you don't want to have to wait on that twice for your second helping, so I get my second helping along with the first at the same time. Anyway, the cooks are trained to recognize that you have the "square" bowls which mean "allergy". They then carefully clean the grill with water and a scraper, then they have a big metal triangle that they put on the grill to keep your food separate from the rest. They set your plate at the end of the triangle and they use cooking utensils that are separate as well. Your food is then cooked inside the triangle. I'm so glad that HuHot has thought of us, and other people with allergies, as most restaurants couldn't care less. Their sauces are all gluten free as well, except for the soy sauce, but you can ask for gluten-free soy sauce if you want to use it. You can have any of the toppings except for the fake crab, as that "crab" is held together with gluten. As well, there are several noodles to choose from, but they are all wheat-based except for the one rice noodle, which is the one I get. Thanks HuHot!
From mild to spicy this is a good place to try virtually limitless possibilities. We really enjoyed our self here. The service is always very good also.
While there are many Mongolian BBQ places in Utah, there's one main thing that sets them apart. In my opinion, it's the sauces!

While HuHot has more ingredients/toppings than most, it is vastly superior in the sauce selection. Many other places have a limited number of sauces to choose from, the various sauces often don't differ much in taste, and at times the sauces are way too salty. HuHot has a sauce recipe for almost any stir fry or oriental taste you're looking for. But you have to experiment!
I love this place. No other Mongolian BBQ had come close.
