I absolutely love this place! They completely go out of their way to make sure you are able to be taken care of. I've been going there for about 5 years now and everyone is like family! They always remember the names of my family members and ask caring questions like
The nurse also didn't inform me that my vaccination required another shot given on a subsequent visit, so I had to figure that out on my own.
You fill out a packet with your information, bring the required paperwork with you, and they will go through it and give you a decision as soon as you hand it in. This "sliding scale" is an amazing resource in our community. As long as you fill out the paperwork *In Advance* of your appointment , you can use the sliding scale as soon as your very next appointment. Depending on your income you can get a co-pay to as low as $10.00 a visit (possibly even lower) instead of the normal $60.00 a visit. This is where people can go to get accurate, fast, kind, and sincere medical help without being turned away. I really do love this place and the people there!
Andrea skates is the best Dr. In town. She's very attentive and caring. She listens and is willing to help in any way possible.
STAY AWAY! Went here for a annual dental check up and was not impressed. Was told i was getting a comprehensive exam, when all I got were a few x-rays and spent 2 min with the dentist. I didn't even get the cleaning i was expecting and then they charged me $135 and told me it would be another $85 for a cleaning, and I would have to schedule an appointment and come back for the cleaning. Who charges $220 for a visit to the dentist????? seriously HORRIBLE will never go back STAY AWAY DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!
A great resource this clinic offers for those of us that are low income is the "sliding scale".
I am so impressed with Dr. Starr. I feel like he listens to what i'm saying, instead of just going through the motions. I went in with so much pain in my back to the point it felt like I couldn't walk, he did some manipulations on it, and I feel so much better!
"How was your vacation? I hope you had a blast! I'm glad you all made it home safely"
They are just amazing. The doctors are outstanding and give you a sense of complete comfort and care. They really do care about you instead of treating you like an insurance claim cash cow. The pharmacy is very quick and efficient. It completely beats out any place like Wal-Mart where you have to wait long periods of time just for a refill. It usually takes about 5 minutes from walking up and requesting the refill to picking it up!
I know I'm not in the majority here, but I was not impressed by my visit. I needed to get some immunizations so I decided to go here since they are close to my house. What should have been a 5-10 minute visit ended up being nearly 45 minutes simply because the nurse that was helping me didn't understand why I was there or what I needed. Instead of asking me directly, she left me in the exam room for 20 minutes and then finally she sent in a superior to figure out why I was in the clinic, which wasted more of my time. It definitely didn't instill my confidence in her handling of my medical care!
I can get immunizations elsewhere with much less of a hassle, so I won't be coming back.
