Awful nail experience. Some of my nails came off within four days of getting them and the process of getting them was long and rough. They also charged twice as much for a set of gel nails as they said they would. Would not recommend going here.
This is my second review because I Need y'all to be aware of how terrible this place is. The owner was outright disrespectful to one of the employees right in front of me. She refused to accommodate the employees requests. I couldn't believe this woman who represents the business would belittle an employee at all but especially in front of customers. If you want a peaceful and relaxing experience DONT GO HERE!
So I always go to Nikki Hanks who is an amazing artist like very pro but today she wasn't in so I got a appointment with tara who was horrible she smudged and made my unicorn that I got done look like it was dead ugh.. and so over priced it was 20$ for just getting it polished like what the heck Nikki dies it for twelve so I would recommend going to Nikki not tara and also she was swearing the hole time and it was me and my friend who are still in middle school!
Worst nail salon I have ever been to. I asked for gel nails and I got acrylic with a gel overlay. I brought my own nail polish (to match my prom dress) but the "technician" insisted that Shellac would hold up better and last longer. I trusted her because she told me she's been doing nails for a while, but when she finished she told me that it was her FIRST TIME ever doing gel nails!! She then proceeded to charge me $80 for the nails!!! I figured they would last a long time because they cost so much, however, two days later, the gel completely broke off of my thumb nail!!! I am beyond upset and DO NOT recommend this boutique. Low quality technicians, low quality product, high price and highly dissatisfied.
I love Girl Candy Nail Boutique. They have a fun, inviting atmosphere. There salon is super cute with a glitter floor. Who doesn't want to sip on a yummy Italian soda and get their nails done at the same time. The nail techs are so nice and extremely accommodating. I can take a picture in of what I am looking for and I end up with the cutest nails. I always get a ton of compliments. They also only use the best products so I never have to worry. I would never go to another nail salon. I suggest if you are looking for a fun, cute place to relax and get cute nails at the same time Girl Candy Nail Boutique is your place!
