Then it came time to file taxes.
Second, huge error on our tax return that reduced our money to be rec'd by over $1,000. Yes, they fixed and amended for free, but if I hadn't found the error I would have lost that money.
Very dissatisfied with the service received from Craig Curtis CPA & his affiliated accounting services companies. We went there for the one stop shop of payroll, CPA, and taxes. Payroll seemed to go fine, nothing horrible to report, but definitely nothing great either.
I just switched my accountant to Craig and so far he has been great. We’ll see how well he does with my taxes this year and if I am not satisfied I will change my review. But so far he has been very profesional and personable. So as long as he does what he says he will I’ll be with for a while.
First, the promised dates for items to be completed by them was RARELY, if ever, met.
Craig and his team are great! They have been doing our business taxes for the past 3 years and we have been very satisfied with their work. Very personable and laid back.
Lastly, two years after filing I rec'd letters from the IRS regarding the tax return & payroll for the period they worked on. I was told by Craig Curtis when going with him that if we ever got letters regarding that time period from the IRS they would respond and deal with the IRS. Well, I sent copies of the IRS letters to them in July and here it is December and they still have not formulated a response to the IRS letters. I have called over a dozen times, but all I get is more assurances that he will look at it next week and then they will call me. I do not consider 5 months an acceptable turn around time.
In summary, if you want good customer service from a CPA your best bet is to look somewhere else!!!
